Lamborghini unveils smartphone and tablet for Russian market

Even if you are not an auto nerd you might have seen or heard about the superfast and luxurious cars of the Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini. However you might not know that the brand is also known to venture into the mobile phone zone. Yes that’s right and recently they have unveiled a new range of luxury phones and tablet only for the Russian market.

The Android 2.3 Gingerbread powered handset is christened Lamborghini TL700 and features a 3.7 inch WVGA sapphire crystal display, a 5 megapixel rear and a VGA front camera, a Qualcomm processor, 1,400 mAh battery and 4GB internal memory. The case of the phone is made out of gold and crocodile skin which enhances its look and provides a luxury touch to the handset. The Lamborghini TL700 handset will be priced at $2,750.

The Lamborghini tablet L2800 also runs on Gingerbread but it might be upgraded to Android Ice Cream Sandwich soon. The tablet features a 9.7 inch 1024 × 768 pixels sapphire crystal display, 512MB RAM with 4GB of internal memory, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor and a MicroSD card support. The Lamborghini L2800 tablet will cost around $2,290.
