Canon’s first Mirrorless Digital Camera, the EOS M

Canon U.S.A., Inc finally announced the launch of EOS M Digital Camera yesterday and ended years of speculation and rumors of a Canon mirrorless camera. It marks the entry of Canon into the compact camera market and to give its competitors like Olympus, Sony and Nikon a hard time.

The compact EOS M Digital Camera is packed with features like DIGIC 5 processor, 3-inch 1.04MP Clear View LCD II Touch screen and an 18-megapixel APS-C-sized CMOS image sensor which is great for still image photography. The EF-M 22mm f/2 STM kit lens and the EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens are specifically designed for the EOS M.
