Dzmitry Samal, a former car designer from Paris has turned his interest towards watches and designed a unique and interesting timepiece design. These watches are “megalopolis inspired” as the designer has drawn inspiration from big city life and the stuff from which our cities are made (i.e. concrete) in creating these watches which comes with solid and robust concrete cases.
Each watch is handmade in Switzerland using a patented technology and the 42mm wide concrete cases are cut into different shapes. The concrete timepieces features a 6 hand Swiss quartz chronograph movement, anti-reflective sapphire and a black rubber strap.
You can choose from eight different designs numbering one to eight which features blueprints, maps and building designed dials and each of which is limited to 100 to 150 units. The Concrete Watches by Dzmitry Samal will go sale in November 2012 with a price ranging between $1,190 -$1,500.
