One of the highlights at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show will be the CXL Trimaran concept from UltraLuxum which offers some unique features to make quite an impression.
The 48-metre CXL trimaran concept is the world’s biggest sailing trimaran which features a foldable outer hull for an easy harbour access and to top it all, the Trimaran is delivered with a McLaren MP4 supercar and a dedicated parking garage for the car in the aft of the yacht which can be seen from the owner’s cabin through a glass wall.

The CXL is 23 meter wide, however to access a greater range of harbors and marinas, the hulls can be transformed to just 11 meters in a few minutes. Constructed in carbon fiber the yacht features retractable outer hulls which are designed by UltraLuxum in collaboration with McLaren Applied Technologies.
The 60 meter high three-deck yacht’s interior are done by UltraLuxum’s Jessica Sbaraglia and Coste Design & Partners. The 150 ton yacht features a master cabin, a lounge area, a pool, four guest cabins and a spa.
The construction on this CXL Trimaran concept will start soon at the Tamsen Maritim Shipyard in Rostock, Germany.
