To celebrate the 80th anniversary of toy manufacturer Lego, World’s tallest Lego tower was built in the Prague, Czech Republic on Saturday. This colorful Lego bricks tower which measures 32.5 meters exceeded the previous record by inches, set in Legoland England, on July 6, 2012.
The construction was started on Thursday by Lego fans and the last brick was laid on top by London Olympic gold medal winner in rowing Miroslava Knapkova on Saturday. About half a million bricks were used for constructing the world’s tallest Lego tower.
The first ever Lego tower was built in London in 1988 measuring 15.2 meters and since then building of Lego towers has become a tradition all over the world.
