Apple’s senior vice president of industrial design, Sir Jonathan Ive have spent more than $17million on his new 7,274-square-foot home in San Francisco residence at Gold Coast neighborhood. Located on one of the city’s most exclusive blocks, the house was listed with a $25 million price tag.
The five-level brick house was designed by the architectural firm Willis Polk & Co. and was completed in 1927. The house features six bedrooms and 8 1/2 bathrooms, an oak-paneled library, six wood-burning fireplaces, a courtyard garden along with views of the San Francisco Bay.
45 year old Mr. Ive, one of Apple’s most high-profile executives and a close friend of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs has led Apple’s design team since 1996 and was knighted recently.
