To celebrate the 45th Anniversary of AMG and the Mercedes, a special and limited edition Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 racing car has been unveiled specially aiming the car collectors with an affinity for motor racing.

Limited to just five cars, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 45th Anniversary Edition is packed with 6.3-liter V8 engine which is personally fitted by five-time DTM champion, 1995 FIA GT world championship and the Mercedes-AMG brand ambassador Bernd Schneider.

The special edition car sports a special designo magno graphite matte paint job, AMG light-alloy wheels in designo magno graphite as well and a silver “45 Years of Driving Performance” logo on the doors. Carbon fiber is used for the doors, mudguards, bonnet and boot lid, rear wings, front apron, front splitter and rear diffuser.

On the inside, we have got design magno graphite steel rollover cage, matt carbon fiber dashboard and center console, six-point seat belts and a silver-painted steering wheel. Each car features a special ‘1 of 5’ badges on the seats and the centre console.

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 45th Anniversary is priced at US$579,900 and each car will be handed over to the lucky customer by Bernd Schneider himself at Mercedes-AMG in Affalterbach.
