It’s time to add some more excitement to your skiing and snowboarding experience as sports equipment maker Oakley, are releasing futuristic Airwave goggles with heads-up display that will provide every vital information along with lot more enjoyment.
Oakley‘s Airwave Goggles sports Oakley’s signature style, a graphic head strap and polarized lenses and the technology brings you the information such as distance, speed, airtime and temperature. The goggles are equipped with features like GPS/Navigation with pre-programmed resort map information and Buddy tracking to locate your friends on the slope.
Airwave Goggles are equipped with Bluetooth which can be paired to your smartphone for viewing text messages, manage incoming calls and to control music.
All of the information can be accessed and controlled easily by a glove friendly wrist remote, with the information displayed right in front of the eye. However it seems like a 14-inch screen about five feet away to the wearer. Oakley‘s Airwave Goggles costs about $800 USD and are available at the Apple store.
