A 34 meter long train made entirely from chocolate was unveiled at the Brussels Chocolate Week setting a new Guinness World Record for the longest chocolate structure in the world.
Malta’s master chocolatier Andrew Farrugia has created this sweet masterpiece who got the idea last year during his visit to the Belgian Chocolate Festival in Bruge. Measuring 112-feet in length and weighing a huge 1,285 kg, this amazing creation is made out of the finest Belgian chocolate packing about 6.5million calories.
The delicious train is divided into two parts: One consists of the first seven wagons which are modeled after the new Belgian trains. The second section includes a wagon with a bar and restaurant and has taken inspiration from old train wagons.
The train was created by Andrew in Malta and then it was transported in 25 wooden boxes to Belgium. It took the chocolate artist about 784 of careful work to complete the world’s longest chocolate structure.
