American auction house RR Auction is offering a rare and historically significant photograph of the huge Iceberg with which the Titanic collided about 100 years ago on April 14th, 1912 taking lives of more than 1000 people.
Titled as “The Iceberg that Sunk Titanic”, the original black and white photograph measures 9.75 × 8-inches. The picture was taken on 12th April 1912 just two days before the tragic event by W. F. Wood who was the Captain of Leyland Line steamer S. S. Etonian.
The auction event will take place from Dec 13th to Dec 16th here more than 400 items related to Titanic will be offered for sale. The photograph of the iceberg is expected to sell for $10,000.
