Ever heard about the Finnjet limousine? In short it is a 29-foot long car which weighs 3.4 tons, rides on eight wheels, offers 10 seats and is worth about one million US dollars.
Antti Rahko, a 72-year-old chauffeur from Finland who immigrated to the United States in 1984 is the proud owner of this unique creation. It took about 10 years for this amazing and humungous machine to be completed. Joining two Mercedes-Benz station wagons started the initial process and then numerous parts from a 1962 Chrysler Imperial and various components from many other vehicles were used to build this 29-foot mean machine.
The exterior of the car features 36 mirrors, 86 lights and a couple of jet engine housings through which the exhaust is routed. The interior comes with seating for 10, a stove, television, microwave, freezer and two air-conditioning units.
Rahko’s Finnijet was put on sale in 2010 on eBay with a $950,000 price tag but failed to meet the reserve.
