Now you can get up close with the marine life or keep an eye on a boat below the waterline while you relax in your boat with the Submarine Camcorder. It is a remote-operated video camera which communicates with its receiver on the deck via Wi-Fi using an app on your iPad or laptop.
You can control submarine’s electric thrust and lift propellers to move it forward or backwards, left or right and up or down with your iPad. A virtual dashboard features a joystick, camera controls and submarine’s built-in sensors also displays data like depth, heading, battery level and temperature.
The Submarine Camcorder is equipped a HD video camera in hydrodynamic ABS housing capable of capturing 1280 x 720 resolution footage (1280 x 800 for still images). With a 16-hour battery charging, you can operate this 8.6 kg device for about two hours. It features eight adjustable-intensity LEDs and is priced at $6,300.
