Last year, the collaboration between Kia, DC Entertainment and Super Street magazine resulted in creation of five Justice League-inspired custom cars. These superhero inspired custom cars are built to raise awareness of DC Entertainment’s “We Can Be Heroes” campaign to help bring relief to people affected by hunger in the Horn of Africa.
Now they all have teamed up again and introduced the Superman-themed Optima Hybrid which was unveiled at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show.
The Optima inspired by the world’s most iconic Super Hero comes in sparkling red and blue color scheme with the legendary “S” logo on the hood. Red headlights mimics Superman’s heat vision and the grille resembles Man of Steel’s belt.
Inside the cabin, Superman’s shield adorns the blue leathered seats, airbag cover and steering wheel of the car. The Superman Optima also features widened fenders, full ground-effects kit, height-adjustable suspension and 22-inch Bavaria 5-spoke wheels.
