The 52nd annual Salone Internazionale del Mobile furniture fair is going on in Milan these days. Designers and architects from all over the world are taking part in the event and demonstrating their designs.
On the occasion of its 75th anniversary, US furniture company Knoll has unveiled a new range of furniture called the “Tools for Life”, which has been designed by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas’s firm OMA.
The collection consists of 11 pieces which includes a customizable table, an adjustable chair and sleek counter made of stacked blocks. Rem Koolhaas commented that he wanted to create a range of furniture that not can perform in a specific way but also in peculiar ways, furniture that contributes to the interior along with the animation.”
The collection will be at exhibit on April 9th and 10th at Prada’s Milan exhibition space at via Fogazzaro, 36, during the 2013 Milan Furniture Fair.
