South Korean multinational electronics company, LG is all set to display its Pocket Photo 2 mobile printer at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show to be held in Las Vegas in few days time. The printer is an updated version of Pocket Photo mobile printer which was launched by the company earlier this year. LG’s Pocket Photo 2.0 is 4mm slimmer than its forerunner, making it the world’s smallest pocket printing device according to the company.
The latest Pocket Print 2.0 printer will allow users to print 5.1 x 7.6cm picture from their tablets and smartphones presented at 313 dots per inch (dpi). The smallest pocket printer uses ZINK technology and comes with NFC and Bluetooth connectivity. The gadget is compatible with both iOS and Android based devices. Users can connect wirelessly by simply installing the Pocket Photo app onto their phones and tablets.
Capable of printing 30 photos on a single charge, the Pocket Print 2.0 by LG will be offered in pink, white and lime yellow color options. Already available for sale in China, it will be launched globally at the CES 2014.
