Vizio, the Irvine-based electronics company has announced its 120-inch Reference Series Ultra HD TV just ahead of the CES 2014 which is all set to kick off tomorrow in Las Vegas, Nevada. By entering the league of big screen ultra high definition TV, the company will be giving straight competition to Samsung. The smart TV will be featuring full 4K resolutions, 10-bit color, video modes and 384 active LED zones.
The 120-inch UHD TV will be about 6 feet tall, 9 feet wide and weighing more than 100 pounds. Vizio’s new TV set is equipped with high dynamic range technology which improves the picture’s brightness and contrast and offers superior color accuracy than other Ultra HD TVs available in the market. The huge TV has its own base which is integrated with built-in sound bar. The 120-inch Reference Series Ultra HD TV by Vizio will be showcased at the Consumers Electronics Show (CES 2014). However, there is no word on the pricing and availability of the product yet.
