Urb-E, world’s most compact e-scooter showcased at CES 2014

From the past few days, we have brought you lots of innovative gadgets and concepts that were showcased at the International Consumers Electronics Show from 7-10 of January in Las Vegas, Nevada. Here is one more inventive and probably the most interesting vehicle which was also unveiled at the CES 2014. I am talking about the Urb-E, which is claimed by its makers as the world’s most compact e-scooter. This foldable electric scooter is certainly the most ingenious discoveries in the field of personal transportation vehicle.

The compact size and foldable ability of the Urb-E makes it easy to carry it on a bus or a train. The luggage rack can carry your bags allowing you to ride it comfortably. Urb-E foldable electric scooter weighs about 25 pounds and can be completely charged in three hours. The e-scooter can reach a maximum speed of 15 mph and can go twenty miles on a single charge. It also comes with a dock which allows you to charge your smartphones and notifies you about the battery life too.

The Urb-E electric vehicle is developed by LA-based startup Ecological Mobility Solutions, Inc. and the company is planning to launch a Kickstarter campaign for the vehicle in February. The expected price for the e-scooter is about $1,500.
