NAMM 2014: ESP Guitars announces the Tombstone Case Company

ESP, Japanese guitar manufacturer has introduced a new branch called the Tombstone Case Company which was announced at the NAMM 2014 which concluded on January 26 at the Anaheim Convention Center, California. Tombstone will be manufacturing a complete line of graphic-designed hard shell cases and gig bags for guitars and basses as well. According to Jeff Moore, ESP Senior Vice President, the division was created because of increasing demand for instrument cases that can provide a level of character that goes beyond the traditional look. ESP Tombstone cases The very first case manufactured by ESP guitars for their Tombstone line was exclusively for new Kirk Hammett Signature Series KH-WZ White Zombie guitar. High-resolution digital reproduction is used for the graphics by Tombstone along with advanced graphics infusion process. The result is a photo-quality reproduction and a much superior detailed look than an ordinary silkscreening.  The designs of the Tombstone cases are based on indigenous artwork created by ESP’s veteran designer Dave Ruhr. If you own a guitar from other brand, you need not to worry as ESP will be offering gig bags and cases for guitars and basses from other brands too. Unveiled at the NAMM 2014 show, the Tombstone cases for ESP models will start shipping in the second quarter of 2014.
