Vertu, British-based manufacturer of luxury mobile phones and high-end designer phones has unveiled their latest smartphone with a huge price tag of £6,750. Dubbed Vertu Signature Touch, the device comes with impressive specifications along with a luxurious design. The Android 4.4 phone comes with a Grade 5 titanium casing, reinforced zirconia for the ear pillow, hand-finished calf leather and a sapphire crystal screen.
The Vertu Signature Touch features a 4.7″ 1080p 473PPI display and is powered with a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor. The 10.65mm-thick smartphone weighs 192g, comes with a 2,275 mAh battery and 2GB of RAM and 64GB of memory. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and supports built-in Qi wireless charging.
However, the most interesting feature of the smartphone is its 13MP main camera with dual-LED flash which is tuned by Swedish photographic equipment manufacturer Hasselblad. Not only that, Vertu Signature Touch smartphone comes with Bang & Olufsen-tuned speakers. Each handset is signed by the craftsman who made it at the company’s England studio. If you think that’s not enough for $11,300, then you will be glad to hear that the owner of this phone will also get access to the Vertu’s exclusive concierge service.
