Misfit Wearables, San Francisco-based designer and manufacturer of wearable products that utilize sensor technology have collaborated with Swarovski to create a line of fashion tech wearables. Dubbed Swarovski Shine Collection, the new product line of shiny accessories made its debut at the ongoing International CES 2015. The collection jointly designed by Misfit and Swarovski includes two new wearable products and nine accessories.
One of the two wearables is Swarovski Shine with a crystal face that functions just like Misfit Shine, company’s flagship wearable activity tracker. Second is Violet Swarovski Shine that uses a patented “energy crystal” technology allowing the device to power itself. Thus, there is no need of replacing or charging the battery as the device recharge on its own using the solar powered technology. According to the makers, artificial light sources such as LEDs or halogen lighting will also charge the device.
Some of the accessories in the Swarovski Shine Collection includes Cleyera wristband, the Piofori Band, the Slake Bracelet and the Serora Pendant. The collection will be available for purchase from next month on official websites of both the companies. Priced from $169.99 to $249.99, the items will be sold in three sets that include two accessories each. Individually the accessories will range from $69 to $149.
