People born in 1980s and 90s have surely played with the colorful plastic building blocks- LEGOs. But its popularity never declined over the years and still going strong. This is because various LEGO Technics are presented by several designers from time to time. LEGO Technics are not only loved by people, but also attractive and fun to build.
That’s why the toy experts at LEGO have now revealed the latest fully-functional Mercedes-Benz Arocs truck kit. The truck model features eight articulating wheels, second-generation Pneumatics 2.0 bucket loader, functional grabber arm and powerful rotating turntable for the arm.
It is the most complex model in the LEGO Technic line, constructed with 2,973 plastic pieces. To make it appear more realistic, the LEGO designers worked closely with Mercedes-Benz engineers and even included hand rails, steps and wheel chocks on the stunning truck kit.
Measuring 12-inches tall, five-inches wide and 21-inches in length, the truck exactly replicates the life-size Mercedes-Benz Arocs assembly plant in Worth, Germany. Besides that, the kit is even available in another set of instructions for building larger truck model, which measures about 30-inches in length.
Before this, LEGO designers have also created Ferrari F40, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 car-to-LEGO transformations, but Arocs 3245 truck is certainly the trickiest and most interesting one so far. There is no word on its pricing yet, but it will hit the market on 1 August 2015.
