The Chest by Döttling

Döttling, German luxury safe manufacturer whose intricate watch winders and watch safes have been featured here is the past are back again with their latest masterpiece. Called The Chest, it belongs to the new series of miniature safes by Döttling that demonstrates the greatest artisanship in smallest of the spaces. Although, the luxury safe boasts an extremely compact design, it comes with a fully functional locking mechanism with a double-bit key safe lock to firmly secure your precious timepieces.

The design of the watch safe is inspired by historic Italian and French masterworks of the late eighteenth century which is combined with innovative and latest state-of-the-art technology. Exquisitely crafted at Döttling safe manufactory in Sindelfingen, Germany, the exterior of The Chest is created with braided and polished steel bands combined with ornamental upholstery nails. The interior of the luxury safe is adorned with finest nubuck calfskin.

Owners on request can get new, electronically controlled Touch & Move technology for the precision watch winders. Besides that, it comes with a delicate illumination system to keep your proud possessions in perfect light. Owners on paying some extra bucks can add an integrated alarm system which produces a deafening alarm sounds in case The Chest is removed from its position. Well, if it still gets robbed, the incorporated GPS device will track its precise location.

The Chest safe will be offered in two variants: a single-door Chest 8 with a space for eight watches and a two-door Chest 15 which will store 15 watches; ten on precision watch winders and five on cushions. The single door version will come with a price of $20,000 whereas the second one will set you back around $29,000.
