Inspired by the epic space fiction franchises, the special edition Star Wars laptop features black and gray encasing that’s reminiscent of the Galactic Empire’s spaceships. Moreover, its cover-print boasts Darth Vader along with HP logo on the lid.
The 15.6-inch laptop’s entire keyboard is lit up by sinister red backlight, letting you virtually feel the anger stream. This Star Wars-themed notebook is also pre-loaded with more than 1,000 wallpapers, screen savers and artwork from the film franchise. Not only that, but even sounds in the Windows have all been replaced with custom R2-D2 and lightsaber notification sounds.
Curious to know more about its specifications? Well, the galactic empire laptop incorporates Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, both from the Skylake family. It’s configurable with up to 2TB of hard drive space and 12GB of RAM. Integrated graphics with HD 520 from Intel and Nvidia GeForce 940M (if you need a bit more power to make the Kessul Run) are also available.
Overall, these specs are closely identical to that of the existing HP Pavilion 15t. However, the limited edition Star Wars laptop is a bit pricey as compared to HP Pavilion, as its staring price is $699.
