This brilliant steampunk interior is not form any factory or industrial site- it’s actually the world’s first kinetic steampunk cafe in Romania. Entitled as Enigma, the unusual cafe has subtle gothic aesthetic boasting mechanical gears and playfully dynamic metal artwork. It’s truly one-of-a-kind cafe and bar, appearing like a secretive basement that’s usually seen in thriller movies.
The walls of the cafe and bar are clad in metallic mechanics and other sculptures from different electrical devices. All these mechanized parts on both ceiling and walls look absolutely magnificent when they being to churn and rotate, adding dynamic feel to the interior.
Highlighting part of the whole cafe is a manlike robot with a plasma lamp head for carefully riding bicycle by the door. Unlike today’s flashy world, the whole interior of this industrial cafe is lit by ambient dim yellow lighting fixtures. Due to such retro-like faint glow, atmosphere of the Enigma steampunk cafe is quite comforting to allow people unwind and have a nice time with their friends.
On entering inside the cafe, you’ll feel as if you’re in a monarchial era filled with all your favorite modern day beverages. If you really want to break monotony of your routine life and really taste steampunk way of life, then you must visit this offbeat cafe at Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Find out more about the cafe on its official Facebook page.
