Fans of ‘Halo,’ free-to-play online game, are already excited about the latest Halo 5: Guardians that’s unveiled today on Xbox One. In honor of the all-new game, Taiwanese cosplayer Hsu Chia-Hao (aka Braid Clarke) and Australian designer Jenny Manik Mercian have created one-of-a-kind Master Chief’s helmet.
Thinking what’s so special about this Halo 5-inspired helmet? Unlike conventional safety head gears made from plastic, the Halo 5 Master Chief helmet is all covered in nearly 25,000 Swarovski crystals, making it the most sparkling Halo tie-in we’ve ever seen.
Weighing 11 pounds (5 kg), the blinging helmet is currently up for sale on the popular auction site eBay and it will obviously go to the highest bidder. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a charity organization that helps sick children with life-threatening illnesses.
Right now, the highest bid is around $710 and it’s going to increase considerably. You still have 8 more days to make higher bid and bring home this masterpiece. Apart from needing big bucks for the bid, you also need additional $200 for shipment to have the helmet flown all the way from Taiwan. Sounds too expensive for a single helmet? Well, it’s for a good cause and who on earth gets a chance to own Swarovski-covered helmet in their routine life?
Unfortunately, we cannot afford to spend such huge amount of money on a helmet. But we’re eagerly waiting to know who makes the highest bid and takes the Swarovski-studded Halo 5 Master Chief helmet home. For now, check out the video given below in which both the creators talk about their exclusive creation that looks pretty badass.
