Garage Italia Customs’ Fiat 500 modeled after R2-D2 and BB-8 robots

Celebrating the worldwide premier of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Garage Italia Customs has transformed its new Fiat 500s into concept vehicles modeled after R2-D2 and BB-8 robots. These custom-made cars are designed brilliantly to resemble the fan’s most favorite characters from the iconic franchise. With innovative aerography technique, exterior of these cars is designed to boasts the ‘damage effect’ that represents wear and tear of ‘galactic battles.’ Plus, its 3D embossed opaque finishing makes the effects appear more intense. Besides the outside motif, interior of each car also carries its respective theme.

Previously, Garage Italia Customs had unleashed Fiat 500e Stormtrooper at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Total twelve 500e Stormtrooper were designed and built at Lapo Elkann’s creative hub and now invading premiers across Germany, Sweden, Denmark, UK and Turkey for fans of Star Wars to enjoy the ride. However in honor of the world preview of The Force Awaken in Switzerland, the company has created two more special editions that are drawing inspiration from R2-D2 and BB-8.

Garage Italia Customs’ Fiat 500 inspired by R2-D2 is clad in white and blue with tinted windows, two-tone allow wheels and matching R2-D2 emblems. Interior features White Foglizzo leather seats with Blue Alcantara inserts, leather-wrapped dashboard and contrast stitching.

Moreover, light blue accents, handmade ‘damage effect aerography,’ Star Wars badging, two-tone steering wheel and Alcantara headliner make it more appealing to the fanatics.

Unlike the R2-D2 500, the BB-8’s livery continues on the windows covering almost the entire car. It comes with white and gold exterior tinted with gray accents, BB-8 emblems, two-tone alloys, and ‘Oneway’ film graphics on the windows. The trio of colors makes their way to its interior as well. Inside the cabin you can find white and Foglizzo leather and gray Alcantara trim, Star Wars badging, contrast stitching and orange-painted dashboard.

This is not the only company who has given Star Wars makeover to the concept cars. Before this we’ve seen the brilliant work of UK-based online car dealership Carwow. They successfully managed to convert their eight luxury sports cars into some of the popular Star Wars characters.
