Bang & Olufsen is renowned for its opulent high-tech audio systems. Keeping its legacy alive and thriving, the Danish company has created another stylish speaker called BeoSound 35. Crafted by Torsten Valeur at David Lewis Designers, this new all-in-one multi-room music system comes with easy-to-use touch interface and also has integrated access to music and radio streaming services.
Boasting one-meter wide pentagonal-shaped aluminum body, the audio system appears like a soundbar and can fill any room with balanced 180-degree surround sound. Whether placed on a table or wall, its minimally sleek appearance allows it to easily fit into any contemporary interior with ease.
But don’t be fooled by its slim appearance, as it comes jam-packed with ultimate features that people usually don’t expect from such sleek audio devices. The speaker has tapered ends containing small treble drivers, whereas its central section integrates larger loudspeakers to deliver enhanced bass-heavy audio.
Two 3/4 inch tweeters are positioned at the edges and slightly angled outwards, providing amazing sound delivery without any distribution of sound. Plus, its four speaker drivers are powered by 80-watt class D amplifiers. This smart audio system even allows you to play your favorite tunes to the unit via Bluetooth, AirPlay and DNLA-based services.
As mentioned before, the high-end speaker has a touch interface so that you can easily control its touch-sensitive edge. Additionally, BeoRemote or BeoMusic mobile app can also be used for adjusting its setting and play your favorite music as per your preferred bass, stereo and other audio effects.
Priced at US$2,785, the BeoSound 35 will certainly drain you bank account. Audio buffs can expect to get hands on the high-tech speaker by April 2016. Meanwhile, you can catch more information and details about the latest B&O music system at CES 2016 in Las Vegas.
