If you ever wanted to ride the iconic 1982 Delorean DMC-12 car, then it’s your chance to live like Marty McFly. DeLorean Motor Company is planning to restart the production of about 300 units of the famous ‘Back to the Future’ car replicas. The latest DMC-12 vehicles will resemble the 1982 model from outside, but under the hood and on the dashboard it’s going to be incorporated with advanced technology.
It has been 34 years since the last Delorean was built, but now the company wants to take things to next level with the production of upcoming versions. Moreover, each vehicle will feature powerful, eco-friendly engines rather than the gas-powered equipment of the 1980s car.
Besides all that, the new vehicles will surely meet current Clean Air Act standards as well as equipment standards. These refurbished Back to the Future cars will totally change the game for the company, which went bankrupt years ago. But now with great enthusiasm and latest technical advancements, the firm is all set to bring something truly amazing for fanatics of the epic movie.
The new Delorean DMC-12 car models will hit the road in 2017, and the company is hoping to sell the new models for less than $100,000- may be between $45,000 to $55,000. Well, it’s not a small price to pay. But totally worth the stunning pop culture high-tech fashion car that any modern vehicle enthusiasts would love to have.
