Having your beloved old car sent to a junkyard is one of the worst thing any automotive enthusiast could go through. Instead, some of the devotional cars can be turned into beautiful recycled car part products, making a way back to their owners. This is exactly what designers at German furniture studio Unibro Design do, they turn vintage automotive parts and tools into designer furniture pieces that can add industrial chic touch to any mancave or other modern interiors.

The furniture collection by the creative design studio includes writing desks, standing lamps, drill lamp, etc. Using trunk lids from cars like BMW ‘Alpina’, 1967 Mustang Coupe and Opel Admiral, the designers have created very stylish writing desks that boasts logo of the respective cars at front. The tabletops of these writing desks are supported firmly by adjustable aluminum legs, which are colored to the same original automotive paint.

Standing lamps are made from old engine filters, so they can produce symmetric lighting ambiance within any interior. The standing lamps are also height adjustable to meet the user’s current requirement. Unibro has upcycled American muscle car hood filters and fixed LEDs into these elegant lamps.

On the other hand, the drill lamps are designed to merge a standard stationary tool with any conventional light bulb. This way appropriate lamps are produced, which can throw a spotlight in your work desk or bed side. The World War II injunction pumps attached to smaller Edison lightbulbs are used in construction of these metallic lamp designs.

While vehicles release tons of heat to pollute and harm environment, these eco-friendly recycled furniture pieces will not only enhance appearance of your home or office interior- but have no negative impact on nature as well. Unibro design studio makes furniture only on request and offers one-off pieces for sale. So, if you’re interested to embellish your home with vintage automotive furniture, then you may contact the designer on the official website.
