Marking the 5th anniversary of luxury e-commerce site Moda Operandi, famed shoe designer Christian Louboutin has created the limited edition Zodiac shoe collection. Bringing stars to your feet, the entire shoe collection comprises of Christian Louboutin’s signature red sole and smooth satin body embroidered with horoscope symbols.
French designer is offering two celestial styles: a statement mule that retails for $2,200, and chic flat for $2,000. Both these styles can be ordered in any one of the 12 signs of the zodiac. Entire shoe lineup is ornamented with zodiac symbols woven in gold and silver thread.
However, both the styles are completely different from each other. The flat ballerinas has a soft pointed toe and delicate hand embroidery. On the other hand, the mule boasts leather accents and edges are embellished with a fine gold chain.
Zodiac signs have special meaning to millions of people around the world, so to make your footwear more special you can even personalize it with your initials and date of birth. Inspired by Louboutin’s personal interest in horoscopes and astrology, these celestial shoes might be your lucky charm to help you take steps towards your dreams and goals.
Limited to just 45 pairs, the shoe collection is available in three shades of satin: wine, black, and midnight blue. You can preorder your a single pair with a $1,000 deposit, and shipping will begin this summer.
This is not the first time Louboutin has come up with something uniquely fashion-forward. Last month, the star shoe designer joined forces with Jaeger-LeCoultre to unveil their Atelier Reverso Line of wristwatches. To celebrated the 85th anniversary of Reverso, this collection of watches has been created. Reverso timepieces are available for every size wrist and further divided into lines called Reverso One, Reverso Classic, Reverso Tribute, and Reverso Heritage.
