French company SPEETA has recently teamed up with designer Philippe Starck to form customizable, eco-friendly heating furniture called SPEETBOX. It is a modular wood stove that’s made up of various stackable cubed boxes. The best thing about these cuboid units is that these can be arranged and stacked in number of different styles to best suit your space and style.
The heating system includes a fire module and electronic module, a cube pebble, a cube for books, a cube to sit. One can easily configure fire and electronic modules to form a conversation piece for both seating and storage. On the other hand, the fire unit can be controlled electronically via Android app.
With the help of the companion app, you can also adjust room temperature, hot air distribution, power and speed of combustion, control of lighting, electrical outlets, etc. Besides all that, fuel emissions are also trackable, programmable and controllable remotely through your smartphone or tablet. SPEETBOX even includes a glazed ashtray in the hearth to check the ash level, even when the stove is working.
All thanks to its highly-customizable cuboid units, the heating system never gets too small or large for a particular space. In fact, the endless number of formations helps to fit it perfectly into any space you like. This unique modular stove is also an innovative energy solution, 100-percent renewable and compatible with RT2012 regulation and Low-Energy building requirements.
Available in finishes of white, black or silver, the customizable wood stove is practical heating furniture for homeowners to match with their home decor.
