Bugatti, French car manufacturer of high-performance automobiles recently unveiled its new home collection at the 2016 Milan Furniture Fair. The collection has drawn inspiration from Bugatti Chiron, the most powerful and fastest production super sports car in the world. Manufactured by high-end furniture makers Luxury Living Group, the Bugatti home collection is an exclusive range of luxury home and executive furniture. Just like brands cars, the frames of the furniture collection are crafted from carbon fiber. Also, high quality glass, steel and leather as found in Chiron’s cabin is used to embellish the luxury pieces.
The home collection includes a sofa, desks, chairs, tables and bedroom furniture. The unique elements of Bugatti brand such as the two-tone color scheme and the horseshoe-shaped front grille are incorporated in the collection. It is designed by Italian architect Carlo Colombo who was assisted by Bugatti Design and Etienne Salome, head of Bugatti Interior Design. The Bugatti home collection unveiled at Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2016 consists of the following pieces.
The Cobra Chair
The Cobra chair reimagines the early version that was designed and accomplished by Carlo Bugatti in 1902 in a contemporary way. The chair is upholstered in cognac leather and comes with a carbon fiber frame painted in Blue Royale color. It is also embellished in blue leather piping and EB monogram.
Royale Sofa and Armchair
To offer ultra comfort and relaxation, the Royale Sofa and Armchair has set new dimensions in terms of both volumes and proportions. Upholstered in soft leather, the seats, arms and back are supported by a single element made of carbon fiber which widens outwards.
Royale Lounge Table
Designed from an extremely light aluminum frame, the wide oval shape table is carved with geometrical patterns that’s inspired from Bugatti interiors. An elegant piece for high-end houses, the tables comes with a smoked tempered glass and the back lacquered in legendary Bugatti blue color.
Lydia Bed and Side Tables
Named after Ettore Bugatti’s daughter Lydia, this contemporary bed takes comfort and luxury to a new level. The wide and comfortable headboard comes with fabric or leather covering to enhance the comfort level. Depicting brand’s aesthetic, the Lydia bed and side tables are finished in Royale blue piping and comes with embroidery of the EB monogram also.
Few other pieces of the collection are the Ettore Desk with Board and Chair and the Atlantic Dining Table and Chair.
