Want a luxury iPhone coated in precious metal? But what’s the point of buying such expensive phone when its charging dock is not as extravagant? For those who love luxury touches even on their phone, gadgets seller Brikk has unveiled a luxe 24k gold iPhone dock that’s designed to add an extra flair to your desk or nightstand.

The charging dock is constructed in Brikk’s laboratory using an original Apple dock, and further coated with a thick layer of a choice of precious metals. Besides the golden dock, Brikk has also created the dock in 18k Rose Gold and 950 Platinum to match with your phone’s color.

It comes with a small lightning jack connector that is suitable for all latest iPhone models ( such as iPhone 5, 6, 6S, 7). The back of the dock features a built-in audio port for connecting with your headphones or external speakers using an aux cable. Moreover, this opulent charging dock also doubles as a flash paperweight with Brikk logo embedded on the front.

The Brikk 24k Gold iPhone Dock will set you back $495. It may be a little pricey, but seven percent of the sales of each luxury dock will be given to the charity of the client’s choosing after purchase. This is to promote a ‘Luxury Tax’ concept to makers and consumers of luxury goods.
