Fidget spinners are the must-have toys for 2017 – these are billed as stress busters, however, some schools even banned them saying it causes distraction. Nevertheless, people love this cool gadget that features a ball bearing in the center and spins effortlessly with the flick of a finger for a few minutes at most. But the subsidiary of precision machinery maker NSK has created ‘Rolls Royce of fidget spinners,’ Saturn Spinner, which can whirl constantly for 12 minutes.

Contrived by Japanese precision machining company that specializes in ball bearings for satellites and computer drives, the fastest spinner is designed to look like a ship’s wheel with increased centrifugal force due to extra weights on the outer ring and a light aluminum ball bearing.

It’s cleverly designed to spin continuously for at least 12 minutes. Each of these high-end toys has been tested for performance. The ones that failed to pass the 12-minute threshold were dismantled, cleaned, reassembled, and retested until they can be certified to the required threshold.

According to Toshikazu Ishii, president of NSK Micro Precision, the Saturn Spinner depends on a special type of ball bearing, similar to those used in certain hard drives. It has the most fluid rotation of all the ball-bearings made by the Japanese company. Therefore, it’s able to spin for the longest duration as compared to other fidget spinners available in the market.

Each piece is created with utmost care and precision to avoid any error in its performance. So, don’t expect these ultimate Rolls Royce of fidget spinners to come cheap.
