Motorola has finally launched the much anticipated Moto Razr smartphone. To the joy of fans, it’s still a flip phone and comes with a foldable display. Although, the smartphone looks similar to the old Moto Razr models, it is designed for the user of this generation. The Moto Razr 2019 smartphone comes with two displays. The primary one called the FlexView display is a 6.20-inch touchscreen. On the other hand, the second one called the Quick View measures 2.7-inches and can be used when the phone is folded up.

Motorola has emphasized on convenience and portability with the Moto Razr 2019 model. When folded, it becomes smaller than any other smartphone and fits easily in your pocket. Also, it is one of the most affordable foldable smartphone around with a price tag of $1,500(well, not cheap for us). The new Razr uses a Snapdragon 710 chipset and supports eSIM only (which means no physical SIM card). It also features a fingerprint reader and is splash-proof as well.
Even though, the Moto Razr 2019 comes with a folding OLED display, the visual crease where the screen bends is not visible at all. The display has a plastic surface which has been coated with additional layers to improve its resistance to scratches. The secondary Quick View display let users use the phone even when folded. It shows you notifications and let you reply to messages using preset message templates. Besides that, you can use the camera for selfies and control the music as well.
The Motorola Razr 2019 comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.7 aperture. For selfies, it sports a 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie and comes as standard with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is powered by a 2510mAh non-removable battery and supports proprietary fast charging. The phone weighs at 205gms and is available in Noir Black color only.
The Moto Razr 2019 model will be available for preorder from December 26, 2019. The smartphone is priced at $1,500 and is expected to arrive somewhere in January, 2020.
