Marshall, British Audio Company have added a new speaker to their line of portable speakers. Dubbed Emberton, this is the smallest portable Bluetooth speaker created by Marshall. The speakers design is inspired from the brand’s classic styled guitar amplifiers. Marshall is well-known for its guitar amps that are used by famed musicians and bands all over the world.

The Emberton Bluetooth speaker from Marshall is inspired by brand’s classic Amp design. Weighing around 1.5 pounds, it is covered by metal grilles both in front and the back. The iconic Marshall logo adorns the front grille of the speaker. Interestingly, the speaker comes with an IPX7 waterproof rating. This means the device is water resistant up to depths of one meter for a time period of 30 minutes. Thus, you can enjoy your music in the bathtub or in a pool with any worry.

The company has offered USB-C type charging with the device which is very cool. The speaker is claimed to offer more than 20 hours of battery life. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 version and can connect to any Bluetooth enabled device within a range of 30 feet. There are joy-stick type controls to navigate through the menu. Besides that, there is a battery life indicator as well which displays battery information all the time. However, the only thing missing is the microphone. Thus, you won’t be able to answer calls using it.

According to the company, the Marshall Emberton speaker uses brand’s True Stereophonic- a multi-directional sound. It offers 360-degree audio to the listener for a better and immersive experience. This smallest portable Bluetooth speaker from Marshall is available for purchase from the brand’s official website. The Emberton speaker is priced at £129.99(about $149).
