Sennheiser, Germany- based audio company is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2020. Known for creating high fidelity audio products, Sennheiser is marking this occasion by launching anniversary edition of its popular HD800 S headphones. Well, if you want one, you have to hurry up as this collector’s item is a limited edition of 750 pieces only.

The HD 800 S Anniversary Edition headphone pays tribute to Sennheiser’s sound expertise and innovation. These special edition headphones come with matte gold color way that offers the sense of exclusivity. Besides that, each piece features an engraved serial number on the headband. Each headphone comes with a frequency response certificate and is delivered directly from Sennheiser’s quality evaluation department.

The diaphragm is made using brand’s patented duofol-transducer material that keeps the total harmonic distortion below 0.02 percent. Furthermore, the left and right transducer systems are matched perfectly to offer optimal balance and create an unparalleled listening experience. Also, the circum-aural earcups are carefully designed in such a way that the sound waves are directed at a minor angle to the ears.

The HD 800 S Anniversary Edition headphone is hand-assembled by Sennheiser’s audio specialists at company’s headquarters in Wedemark, Germany. The headphones are made using glass-fiber strengthened plastic whereas the earpads are crafted from soft vegan velour material. Just Like the high-definition HD 800 S open-back headphone, stainless-steel mesh is used to create the grid and grilles.

Weighing 330g without cable, the headphone will come with a cable with a 6.5 mm jack plug. Besides that, the box will include cable with balanced 4.4mm jack plug, microfiber cleaning cloth, user’s manual and USB flash drive. The Sennheiser HD800 S Anniversary Edition Headphones will come with a price of $1800 USD. It will be available at Sennheiser stores and selected retail partners from 22nd September.
