If you are a foodie, you might remember the most expensive sweet in India which we featured here last year. Well, today also, we are bringing something mouth-watering for you. Bombay Borough, a British-era bungalow-inspired luxury diner in Dubai has launched the world’s most expensive biryani. The exotic dish priced at AED 1,000 has been added to the menu of the luxury restaurant to celebrate its first anniversary.

This exotic version of the Indian dish is named the Royal Gold Biryani and is topped with 23 karat pure edible gold. The 3kg serving comes in a huge platter which is carried by two men wearing shining golden aprons. The world’s expensive biryani is prepared from four varieties of rice including Keema rice, white rice, saffron rice and Chicken biryani rice. Besides that, the feast comes with Rajput chicken kababs, lamb chops and Murgh soola. Also, it comes with Badami sauce, malai chicken roast, Mughlai koftas, Indian curries and Pomegranate raita.

The Royal Gold Biryani is topped with baby potatoes and boiled eggs. Furthermore, to transform it into an exclusive luxury meal, the biryani is finally garnished with 23 karat edible gold. It takes around 45 minutes to prepare the luxury meal which can serve four to six people. You can also pre-book your order through a telephone call. The Bombay Borough restaurant is situated in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). So, if you are in Dubai and have lots of money to splash around, do try the most expensive biryani in the world. The Royal Gold Biryani will cost you Dh 1,000(around $273).
