All parents wants to get the best toys for their kids. Well, there are some who love to build something themselves for their children. One such guy is Shakir, a talented man from Kerala who created a miniature replica of Mahindra Jeep for his children. Shakir is a resident of Areekode in Malappuram district, Kerala who has become quite a sensation on the internet for his Jeep replica.
The miniature replica of the Mahindra Jeep SUV is fully-functional and comes with a removable soft top. It was built by Shakir for his son and it took him around one year to complete the vehicle. Initially, the Jeep replica was powered by a 1000-watts motor but Shakir recently added an engine as well sourced from Bajaj Discover motorcycle. The mini SUV is giving a fuel efficiency of around 35km per liter. Moreover, the jeep comes with a power steering, working headlights and manual gearbox.

The chassis was built by Shakir in his home whereas the sheet metal work was completed at a local workshop. He has used different parts from various vehicles for building the Jeep replica. The tires are taken from a Tata Ace mini truck. Also, like the original Jeep, the replica features a set of leaf spring suspension. Besides that, the miniature Mahindra Jeep replica comes with a music system, push-button start, foldable front windshield and sliding driver seat. Moreover, there are two side-facing bench seats at the back as well. The vehicle can accommodate 5-6 children.

Although, this miniature Mahindra Jeep replica is getting the popularity nowadays, it was built by Shakir around 6 years ago. It took him one year to build the vehicle with an expense of about ₹ 1.75 lakh ($2400 USD).
