CAKE, Sweden-based electric bike company has unveiled their new electric scooter for urban commuting. With traffic and pollution increasing worldwide, the Swedish company is looking to offer an eco-friendly and light & compact solution to city riders. Christened Makka, the e-bike is brand’s most agile and compact bike to date. It a perfect bike for daily city commuting and is offered with lots of add-ons and customization options.
The CAKE Makka electric moped draws similarities from company’s first electric moped named Ösa. However, it is a much smaller bike and therefore is much affordable and better suited for city riding. According to the company, the Makka is a commuting wonder, a lightweight, traffic crushing convenience machine with category-leading performance built for an active and modern lifestyle.
The CAKE Makka electric bike weighs 132-pounds and comes with loads of customization options. The e-bike comes with 8 standard configuration bundles and a built-in yourself version as well. The add-ons include passenger seat, cargo racks, basket, bags, top box and a child-seat too. Therefore, it can carry your surfboard for a weekend adventure and daily need items on a regular day pretty efficiently. Besides that, the detachable child seat and passenger seat lets you take your young one or your partner for a ride as well.

The Makka electric moped is offered in two variants: Makka Flex and the Makka Range. The Makka Flex reaches a top speed of 45km/h and offers a maximum range of 31 miles (50 km) per charge. On the other hand, the Makka Range has a top speed of 25 km/h and gives 37 miles (60 km) range per charge. Both these electric bikes from CAKE are street-legal and come with knobby tires from all-terrain riding.

The Makka Flex will set you back US $3,800 whereas the Makka Range will cost you US $3500. CAKE will start shipping the e-bike worldwide in early 2022.
