Triumph Motorcycles has teamed up with Gibson, American manufacturer of musical instruments to create a custom motorcycle and a one-of-a-kind custom guitar. The special edition motorcycle is dubbed ‘Triumph Bonneville T120’ whereas the guitar is called the ‘Les Paul Standard Reissue.’ Both these collectibles are inspired by the shared historical significance of the legendary 1959 Bonneville T120 and the 1959 Les Paul Standard.

The one-off motorcycle and the custom guitar are created to support The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. It is an annual event that raise money and awareness about men’s mental health and prostrate cancer. The 2022 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride will take place on May 22nd. The pre-registration for the ride has started across the world with official registration and fundraising already in progress from 28th March.
The Triumph Bonneville T120 ‘1959 Legends custom edition’ motorcycle features designs and styles inspired from the Gibson guitar. The motorcycle comes with cool custom paint scheme that matches the sunburnt finish of the guitar. The top of the fuel tank comes with a black painted guitar neck and a headstock design. Also, the front mudguard, side panels and the tank features low-profile electroformed metallic gold “Triumph Gibson 1959 Legends” badges. Besides that, the fuel cap comes with a laser etched Gibson logo whereas the alternator badge comes with “Triumph Gibson 1959 Legends” as well. Not only that, the brown leather seat of the motorcycle is inspired from the leather guitar case. Few additional detailing includes embroidered Triumph logo, diamond stitching and custom pick holders.

Similarly, the Gibson Les Paul Standard Reissue ‘1959 Legends custom edition’ guitar features design and styles of the classic Bonneville T120. It comes with unique jet-black scratch plate with hand-painted coach lining that matches the engine cooling fins of the Bonneville T120. Besides that, the lower pickup cover comes with laser etched Triumph logo whereas the headstock adorns a low-profile electroformed metallic gold Triumph badge. Furthermore, the back of the guitar is embellished with a hand finished reissue switch backplate inspired from the alternator cover badge design of the Bonneville T120. It also features the “Triumph Gibson 1959 Legends” partnership logo.
This one-off custom package will be offered as the highest fundraiser reward for The 2022 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride.
